Systems Engineer - IP Network Planning
Job Description:
This is a position in a recently established regional office in Amman for a telecom company (System Integrator) headquartered in Dubai. The candidate will be responsible for all presale activities of our networking related products.
The successful candidate is expected to cover the following:
- Be responsible for full cycle of IP network project management from capturing requirements, providing HLD and BoM, all the way to LLD configuration and commissioning.
- Work closely with access network team to plan the integration of the IP core with the access systems.
- Design the integration of the EMS of our products with standard NMS.
- Keep up-to-date on relevant competitive solutions, products and services.
- Provide technical support and sales support
- Perform technical presentations for customers and partners.
- Respond to Request For Proposals (RFP's)
- Assist with the development of formal sales plans and proposals for assigned opportunities.
- Supervise the implementation of the IP part of the designed solutions and occasionaly perform direct implementation.
Job Location:
Amman - Jordan
Minimum Education:
B.Sc degree in engineering or science.
Skills:
- 2+ working experience in Designing, implementing and troubleshooting IP networks preferably in service provider environment.
- CCNA certification is a must
- Familiar with advanced IP technologies such as MPLS, TE, QoS, VoIP and security.
- Familiar in integration of OSS systems including NMS, CM, FM, etc.
- Familiar with IP based wireless communication systems e.g. WiMax, WiFi and related technologies.
- Good social engineering skills as you will be working with people.
- Ability to work effectively, demonstrate personal drive and add value as a team member.
- Demonstrated technical knowledge and consultative skills.
- Technical leadership and ability to engage other technical resources
- Competitive knowledge including solution, technology and product offerings.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English, listening, and strong presentation skills.

Job Description:
This is a position in a recently established regional office in Amman for a telecom company (System Integrator) headquartered in Dubai. The candidate will be responsible for all presale activities of our wireless products.
The successful candidate is expected to cover the following:
- Be responsible for full cycle of RAN planning from nominal link planning/coverage and capacity planning to detailed site surveys and site selection all the way to actual detailed radio design.
- Keep up-to-date on relevant competitive solutions, products and services.
- Provide technical support and sales support
- Perform technical presentations for customer and partner.
- Respond to Request For Proposals (RFP's)
- Assist with the development of formal sales plans and proposals for assigned opportunities.
- Supervise the implementation of the radio part of the designed solutions and occasionally perform direct implementation.
Job Location:
Amman - Jordan
Minimum Education:
B.Sc degree in engineering or science.
Skills:
- 2+ years of working experience in the field of wireless network radio network and/or microwave link planning.
- Hands on experience in one or more planning tools related to RAN planning
- Good understanding of IP network basics.
- Experience with WiMax and WiFi technology is preferred.
- Hands on experience in radio measurement tools.
- Good command in the basics of digital radio communications. (Modulation, duplexing, interference).
- Good social engineering skills as you will be working with people.
- Ability to work effectively, demonstrate personal drive and add value as a team member.
