Waseela for Integrated Telecommunications Solutions was established in Amman, Jordan in 2006. Dar Alhai for General Trading and Investment is the major share holder in Waseela; Dar Alhai had a turnover of more than $270 Million in 2008. Dar Al-Hai's financial reports for years 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008 are audited by Ernst and Young. In mid 2008 Waseela expanded into Dubai-UAE through the acquisition of Tawasol Telecom, a company specialized in telecom rollout and civil work services in the region. In early 2009, Waseela established a new regional office in Riyadh-Saudi Arabia.
Waseela’s vision is to become the leading system integrator and solution provider in the field of advanced broadband wireless technologies in the MENA region. Waseela’s plan is to simply invest in the talented and skilled resources in the region to create a highly-qualified self-evolving service delivery organization.
Today, Waseela’s pool of resources reached more than a total of 150 engineers, technicians, project managers and executives. The technical resources of Waseela span the areas of RF engineering, IP engineering, technology architecting and technical implementation.
Waseela and through its mother company (Dar Al Hai) currently has regional offices in Amman – Jordan (HQ), Dubai – UAE, Kuwait – Kuwait, Cairo – Egypt, Riyadh - KSA and Erbil - Iraq. Our presence extends to most of the MENA region through our network of partners.
Waseela’s founders put more than 15 years of technology and industry experience into one highly-motivated, professional, and efficient organization. The achievements of Waseela’s founders cover almost all phases of the technology development life cycle; ranging from the R&D phase and ending with operating and supporting deployed solutions in the verticals of double-play WiMAX NWs, Mesh-WiFi, IP-Based Transport and Public WiFi. These contributions include published patents through the U.S. Patents Office.
